The speakers in the talk show entitled Uncovering Indonesian Tax Regulations through a Digital Platform organized by DDTC.
DDTC Indonesia invites three tax experts from three countries to be special guests in a talk show entitled Uncovering Indonesian Tax Regulations through a Digital Platform.
The three tax experts are Simon Hofstaetter, Thomas Vanhee, and Rishabh Agarwal. The guests will share their stories, experiences and perspectives in acquiring a comprehensive source of information on a country’s tax regulations.
Simon Hofstaetter is a tax expert from the Austrian tax authority who has been engaged in the tax world since 2010. In his daily life, Simon is responsible for large traders as well as a tax auditor, especially for taxpayers in the pharmaceutical sector.
In addition to his duties with the Austrian tax authorities, Simon joined the OECD International Compliance Assurance Program (ICAP) 2.0 in 2019. Moreover, he completed his Master of Tax Management education in 2020 at FH Campus Wien.
The second guest is Thomas Vanhee. Thomas is the founder of Aurifer, an award-winning boutique tax firm founded in Dubai and Riyadh. In the era of tax reforms in the Gulf, Thomas also played a role in assisting companies facing new tax challenges, such as corporate income tax and VAT.
Further, Thomas also teaches taxation at various higher education institutions in Europe and is a frequent speaker at international events.
The next special guest is Rishabh Agarwal. This high-achieving chartered accountant is an expert in direct tax, international tax and transfer pricing. He holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in international tax from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
In recognition of his knowledge and contributions, he was appointed as a co-opted member of the International Tax Committee of the NIRC of the ICAI for the year 2021-22. In addition, Rishabh is also active in providing tax-related education in several digital publication media.
The talk show is held to commemorate the launching of the DDTC Indonesian Tax Manual (DDTC ITM) 2023 electronic book. The talk will be held on 14 February 2023 via Zoom Meeting from 14.00 - 16.00 WIB, Indonesia Standard Time, GMT +7.
The talk show also invites experts in Indonesian taxation from DDTC Indonesia. This event is open to the public, free of charge and participants will receive an electronic certificate of attendance.
